Does Your Case Qualify?
- You are owed $50,000 or less. If you're owed more, you have the option of abandoning the difference. This is often done to save time and money by keeping the matter in Small Claims Court. Costs and interest can be added to the amount you're suing for.
- Your matter is within the 2 year statute of limitations. This generally means 2 years (less one day) from the day the debt became due or the date of the last payment.

You have evidence to support your claim. This can be in the form of written documents such as promissory notes, purchase orders, invoices etc.; communication records such as text messages and emails; or photographs, video or audio recordings and witnesses.
